a/c problem

a/c is coming out the defrosters.. i know the problem is vacuum related.. any ideas on hpw to fix it?? this miami sun is cooking me! lol

take off you glove box door and see if any of line broke or came off and look on the back of the a/c control that its all good

Re: a/c problem

On your passenger side fire wall you will see a vacuum line coming out, it then travels across the fire wall to the drivers side vacuum tree I would check that line for brakes/cracks or if its rotted through in some spot.

that is exactly where mine was bad.....it's pretty common there good advice!

so i popped the hood to take a look.. and i saw that theres a lil t-fitting and one of the lines snapped off.. replaced the line and now my a/c is coming out the main vents! thanks for all the help guys! now its time for a recharge!

I was out of town and didnt see this thread but this is exactly what happened to me back in 2007 with my 97. I took pics and documented on another forum but would have posted the pics I took if I seen this earlier! glad you figured it out

so im back lol. my a/c is coming out of the defrosters now and i have replaced all the hoses. i just cant figure it out smh. any suggestions?
