Re: just got my edelbrock victor jr. 4.6 intake
no it works on efi cars, there 2 versions a carb one and efi, you can see the holes of the injectors, and there a plate the lets a stock upper plenuim bolt up.

Pretty sure it is last months HotRod Mag that has a dyno test on a 2v that includes that manifold. Makes good power

Re: just got my edelbrock victor jr. 4.6 intake
the car now makes 310rwhp, and 310rwtq, with poerted heads, cams, and longtubes, with the stock pi intake and MAF, and a small ebay cai, ill redyno with the edelbrock intake, jlt ram air intake (4" tube) and 90mm lighting MAF, hoping to make 330rwhp+

Re: just got my edelbrock victor jr. 4.6 intake
NIce looking manifold. Interested to see the gains. You might want to dyno it once with just the manifold changed, then change the MAF and CAI, that way you'll know exactly what gains you got from the manifold, and the other 2 are pretty quick and easy to swap in.

Re: just got my edelbrock victor jr. 4.6 intake
I have a question
What else did you need to buy for this intake besides aftermarket fuel rails? i know that it says you need a 4bbl style intake but our stock intakes are that shape to begin with. I want to possibly spray in the future and a non plastic intake is what i need so any info would be great! You said you are already at 310, so what kind of gains are you expecting? - CrazyHorse

Re: just got my edelbrock victor jr. 4.6 intake
I don't think a carb will bolt on the efi version, you have to buy one of their intake elbows

Re: just got my edelbrock victor jr. 4.6 intake
yes a carb will bolt on to the efi one, witch is stupid MMR makes an adapter plate for $65, but its just a flat paice of aluminum, so i going to make it myself, and that is all you need to convert. fuel rails, and adapter plate to run stock/or stock style upper plenium.
OPPS THIS IS 98COBRA281 I POSTED IN THE WRONG NAME!!!

Re: just got my edelbrock victor jr. 4.6 intake
there is a member on mustang forums who has the victor jr and he made his own plate too, that seems to be the way to go if you arent using the elbow.
